Eligibility and Introduction

If you provide direct patient care and have indicated in your profile that you do (see Patient Care Settings for more information), you will have a website for your profile on the Yale Medicine website (yalemedicine.org).

Unlike the Bio on your Yale School of Medicine website (see General Information & Biography Name, Languages, Biography, & Canonical URL for more information), you can not simply enter or edit your Yale Medicine bio and see it appear or change on the website.

Yale Medicine Bios are written and managed by the Yale Medicine content team. However, you can give information and suggestions for your Bio through a survey in the YaleMedicine.org Bio YM Patient Care Biography section of the Patient Care Biography tab.

There are 3 states for the Bio survey that will be discussed in these instructions.

  1. You just started your profile and need to enter the information in the survey so the content team can write a Bio for you.

  2. You have completed the survey and are waiting for the YM content team to write your Bio.

  3. You bio has been written and appears on YaleMedicine.org.
