Adding Text Content

There are several different schemas (types of content blocks) that allow you to put basic text content on a page. The most common schema is the Content block, which provides you with a variety of options to display text.

• Content blocks are used to insert paragraphs onto a page, and are where you will make the majority of your text edits.

This section of instructions will cover how to add basic text, how to add more complex text formats, and how to add text structures to your page.

Basic Text

You add Basic Text via the Content schema, the most widely used component in Tridion.

• The following instructions provide information on creating the Content schema, adding basic text, and creating paragraphs.

Page Titles

You can also add Page Titles, which are especially useful when your page has limited text and instead contains Multimedia or other components that aren’t text heavy.
