Default Sorting for Supported Faculty in Staff Headers
This data should display in alphabetical order by default. We are also working on custom sorting options.
Indexing
The new profiles are being tested on a special branch of our database, which has a slight delay and seems to be finicky. So you may notice, for example, that if you delete your title card and then re-add it, it won’t show up when you click “test the new design!”. This will all be seamless when we move the new profiles to the production area for launch.
Done
Appointment Data Display
We are adjusting how appointment data is displayed to simplify it and reduce the amount of duplicate/contrasting items. Dates are being removed.
In addition, to make sure proper appointment data is displaying correctly, we are setting the academic website display flag to “yes” for the following appointment types (this impacts 1,602 people):
Assistant Clinical Professor
Assistant Clinical Professor (Social Work)
Assistant Dean
Assistant Professor
Associate Clinical Professor
Associate Dean
Associate Professor on Term
Associate Professor Tenure
Associate Research Scientist
Chair
Clinical Professor
Dean
Deputy Dean
Director
Interim Section Chief
Professor
Research Scientist
Section Chief
Senior Associate Dean
Senior Research Scientist
Default Sorting for Publications
The default sorting for publications was broken, but it is now fixed.

Display Description Text for Professional Achievements
We are working on displaying the description text for certain entries in the Academic Achievements and Community Involvement section of the profile.
Currently, we are displaying the role, activity type, and institution/organization for activities, which results in items without much detail:
We are going to show the description field, which is currently under “Details,” so it is more clear what the achievements are without opening the sub-menu:

Media Library Collection of Banner Images
We are going to add a collection of Banner images used on profiles that displays when users go to add a banner to their profile.

Done
Research at a Glance: Rename Co-Authors to Yale Co-Authors
The Co-Authors that display in Research at a Glance are really only Yale Co-Authors, because we have the data for them, so we updated the text in the section to say Yale Co-Authors:

Willing and Available to Mentor Check Boxes
Add Postdocs to this Mentoring list in Beatrix because many faculty interpret “Fellows” as clinical fellows and not postdoctoral fellows.

Mentoring Modal - Add Associate Research Scientist
When adding a new mentee, one of the position options in the dropdown menu should be Associate Research Scientist.

Create new functionality to incorporate current mentees in research section
Work on using current mentees to create a lab card or section in the research section of the profile. This would be particularly useful for people foregoing lab websites.
Titles Header Card: Change from semi-colon separated list to individual titles
We want to improve the readability of the Title header cards, and instead of using a long, semi-colon separated list, we want to separate the administrative titles and stack them vertically. We want to do this for both versions of the card (with and without the Workday titles).
