Newsletter Override Feature

The Override text and image option can be used to create a more dynamic message and convey supporting content for your email newsletters. You can override the content for news and events sections in a newsletter issue.

To override these types of content:

  1. Add an Events or News Section to your newsletter and populate it with content, per usual.

  2. Select an Event or News article that you would like to override from within the section. You can either select the title or use the “Add an Override” plus icon from the table.

  3. In the Event or News modal, select “Override text and image” button.

Once you select “Override text and image”, the modal will expose the Customize Event fields. Three options will appear:

  1. Custom Title allows you to override the title of the Event or News article. This is a great option to be more specific to your email audience or shorter than the original titles entered into Beatrix.

  2. Custom Summary allows you to override the summary of the original Event or News article.

  3. Custom image allows you to override the image associated with the Event or News article.

  4. Update Be sure to select update to apply your override preferences.
