Video Article

The video article section allows you to feature a single article on the news landing page using a Video Header.

You can find instructions on how to use the Video Header in our Article Header instructions.

Steps to Add a Video article to a News Landing Page

  1. Go to the News Landing Page for your organization: https://beatrix.yale.edu/news/landing-pages/organizations

  2. Manage your sections and Toggle on Video Article

    Turn on the Video Article Section

  3. Select the article with an embedded video. This should be published and tagged like any news story. Article Placement However, in order to work on the News Landing Page, the Video must be in the article Header/Hero section.

  4. Add a Video Thumbnail

Your video article must have a short, 20 second video thumbnail, specifically edited for use on the landing page, to work properly.

The blue background indicates that this video thumbnail is featured in the news landing page.
