News: Preview and Publishing
This documents outlines how to preview and publish internal and external news articles.
Previewing your article
After writing and tagging your article, you can preview the article by clicking the link. If you make changes immediately, it may take a few minutes for the preview page to update.
Publishing your article to the live server
When you are ready to publish, click the Publish button and use the View Livelink to see the article.
Special behavior for external articles
An external article is essentially a link with Title and summary fields so that it can appear in a news list or widget. The View Live link allows you to test your link to the original story. The Publish button publishes the item to your widgets and news listings, or to suggested organizations.
