Beatrix updates

• Word and Character counters: Text fields now show character and word counters. Fields with limits display how close you are to the maximum so it’s not a surprise when you try to save your work.

• Patents on People Profiles: It’s now possible to show patents on public profiles, or hide them if they’re only intended for use with for your CV.

• Newsletter Image support: The side-column image now supports a 1:1 (square) crop so images appear consistently.

• Improved “Add Media” modal: When adding audio or video in News "Individual Media," the original caption now appears immediately so you can confirm details without reopening.

• Easier location selection: when adding locations to profiles and organizations, the street address now appears beneath the building name to make the correct location easier to confirm.

• Simpler Publications Management for Individuals: A streamlined review page focuses on the views editors use most.

Yale School of Medicine Website updates (T4)

• Show Photo Credits in News: an issue that prevented photo credits from appearing in certain places on news articles has been fixed.

• Short Items on Q+A News Articles: Q+A article layout has been corrected so short questions and answers align properly without extra indentation on desktop.

• “Explore this Issue” on News Landing Page: this section has been resized and aligned to improve readability on larger screens.

• Login page text is now customizable: Admins can tailor the heading and description to clarify how and why multiple login options are offered.

Yale Medicine updates (YM)

• Links in Yale Medicine Clinician Bios: Yale Medicine bios now support hyperlinks, allowing references to program pages, research profiles, or additional reading directly within the biography.
