1. Type in the appropriate Name for the component.

2. Select External Link Summary from the Schema drop down menu (highlighted in yellow above).

3. Enter the Title of the External Link that you want to appear in the Summary.

4. Use the Introduction text field to write a short summary of the website or page you are linking to.

5. External URL: Enter the address you would like the summary to direct users to.

6. Image to display in summary: This field allows you to add an image that will appear in the Summary.

   • You can only use an Image that you have updated to the Building Blocks folder of your publication (for more information on uploading Images to Tridion, see the IMAGES (LINK WHEN PAGE IS READY) Images and Image Galleries section of instructions.

   • Click the magnifying glass icon (highlighted above in green), and you will see a pop up of your Building Blocks folder.

   • Select the image you want to include in the Summary and click Insert to add it to the component.
