The following instructions are about the Calendars and events Calendar Events associated with a person in their profile.

To manage the Calendars Events associated with a profile:

  1. Visit beatrix.yale.edu

  2. Log in with your NetID and password

  3. Click People in the left navigation.

  4. Find and select the person’s profile that you want to edit (see Edit a Profile for more information).

  5. Click the Calendars Eventsbutton in the navigation on the left side of the page.

Tagged Events

Once you click Calendars Events you will be taken to a new page called Tagged Events, where you can see the list of events (Green box on image below) you have been tagged in as either a participant or host.On the left side of the page, you can click Submit an Event to start the process of creating a new event

To create a new event, click Events in the far left Nav (red box on image below)

Event Calendar

The Tagged Events You’re Featured In page allows you to search for and filter events, so that you can find them more easily.

  • You can search for the event by name in the provided search bar, or use the Advanced Filters

Click Advanced Filters to see what other criteria you can filter and search by:

There are several options available to filter events you have been tagged in.

  1. Organization: Start typing in the organization and select from the suggested options.

    • This will filter the events to just the ones the organization is tagged in.

  2. Role: You can filter events by what role you have in the event. The options the the drop-down menu are:

    • Contact

    • RSVP Contact

    • Host

    • Speaker

  3. Status: You can filter events by the status of the event. The options the the drop-down menu are:

    • Confirmed

    • Tentative

    • Cancelled

  4. Organization: Start typing in the calendar and select from the suggested options.

    • This will filter the events by whether they appear in this calendar.

  5. From/To: You can use these fields to set a date range for filtering events.

  6. Event: You can search for the event by name in the provided search bar.

  7. Creator: you can search for events by who created them.

    • Type in the person’s name and select from the suggested options.

  • Filter by Tag bar. Click Filter by Tag allows you to search by calendar name or keywords.

The columns can also be filtered using the icon to the right of the column headings for Title, Role, Status, Event Date or Event Creator.

There are several options available to filter events you have been tagged in.

  1. The list of Tagged Events is sorted by date and/or the filters you have applied, and shows you information about the Events.

The icons to the left of the event tell you whether the event is Single (highlighted in yellow above) or Recurring (highlighted in green above).

You can see the Creator and Date under the event, as well as what Role you have been tagged in it as.

  1. You can click on any event to see a snapshot of the details or edit it.

You can untag yourself from the event by clicking the trashcan icon (highlighted in red aboveyellow below).

You can edit the event by clicking on the Title or the pencil icon (highlighted in blue above). This will take you to the Event Editor for the event.

Your Calendars

You can see the Organization Calendars you are allowed to view by clicking Your Calendars in the navigation on the left.

You can filter the calendars by typing into the provided field and clicking Filter.

You can also subscribe to a calendar using the icons to the right, (highlighted in yellow above).

Additionally, you can view the calendar using the eye icons to the right, (highlighted in blue above).

Your Default Location

This section allows you to pre-populate your location info into any event you create.

Set Your Default Location allows future events to populate this data automatically when you are tagged.

Events on the Profile Page

If the profile is listed as a Speaker or Host User of an event, the events will appear in the Get in Touch section of the profile under Events (highlighted in yellow below):
