Both the Brief Summary and Extensive Description of Research populate in the Research & Publications page of the website for a profile, shown below:

Research Interests
This section allows you to tag the profile with Research keywords. There are two types of Research Interests keywords utilized on YSM and YSPH sites: Public Health and Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).
Public Health Keywords
This section allows you to tag the profile with Research keywords that are specifically related to public health.
As well as displaying on the profile, these keywords are used to sort profiles based on Public Health research interests.
To add Public Health Research Interests, click the Add New...
button (shown below).

Begin typing your interest into the search bar
Select the interest from the suggested list that appears.
Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) Keywords
The keywords are based on the NIH’s MeSH keyword list.
They display on the profile and are used to sort profiles based on medical research interests.
To add a new medical Research Interests keyword, click Add New...
and the following section will pop up:

You can add a medical Research Interests in 2 ways:
Enter the interest in the search bar and choose from the suggested options.
Click
Add
to add the keyword to the profile, and it will populate to the list above.
Using the category-based keyword tree:
A sideways arrow (highlighted in yellow abovebelow) indicates a category that you can click on to expand and show the sub categories.
Once expanded, the arrow will change to downward facing and reveal the sub-categories (highlighted in blue abovebelow).
Use the
+
icon (highlighted in green abovebelow) to add the keyword, and it will populate to the list above.

You can also click on the X
next to the added keywords (highlighted in red above) to remove them from the profile.

To add a Research Image, drag and drop an image into the provided window.

Once you have uploaded an image, which will be resized for display, add a Title and Description to the image with the provided fields.
If you have multiple images, you can sort them by dragging them with the hamburger icon (highlighted in yellow above).
To delete an image, click on the trash can icon (highlighted in red above).
