If you have a single audio file you'd like to feature on your site, you have the option of inserting a file from the Beatrix Media Library tool.

The process is similar to uploading a video file in the Beatrix Media Library.

To add the audio to a page, you may either upload to the Media Library first, then go to your page in Beatrix CMS and create a media item and select it; or you may create the Media content item and upload directly from the Pages section of Beatrix CMS.

Media Library Instructions

Please see Media Library - Video for instructions on uploading multimedia to the Beatrix Media Library. Please note that you will select Audio before uploading as shown below.

You may upload a file or use a Youtube or Vimeo link. You will be prompted for the meta data as you would for video files.

Adding the Media Item to a Page

Navigate to the Pages folder and open the page you would like to add the audio item to.

  1. Click Create Content, select the parent folder, name the item and select the schema Media.

  1. Select the appropriate item from the Media Library or Upload the audio file here.

  2. Select the Layout View Audio Player.

Follow the same process to add an Audio Item to a list.
