Patient Care

The News and People Profile System (profile.yale.edu) allows you to manage various types of information associated with a person’s profile.

The following instructions will explain how to manage and edit the Patient Care information associated with a person.

 To begin managing the Patient Care information:

1. Visit https://profile.yale.edu

2. Log in with your NetID and password

3. Click Profiles in the navigation at the top of the page.

4. Find and select the profile you want to edit (see Edit a Profile for more information).

5. Click the Patient Care button in the navigation on the left side of the page.

There are multiple sections in the Patient Care section, so the sections are split up into these instructions:

Much of the information in the instructions for editing a profile (Edit a Profile) is geared towards managing the profile that will appear on the academic-focused Yale School of Medicine website (medicine.yale.edu).

However, because the Patient Care section focuses on the clinical work of Yale doctors, a-lot of the information will be more relevant for the profiles on the more clinically-focused Yale Medicine website (www.yalemedicine.org).
