Creating and Adding a Page Title Component

Start by creating a new Component.

Creating a Page Title component is simple.

  1. In the Building Blocks folder of your respective website, select New Component (highlighted in blue above) in the Create tab (highlighted in yellow above) of the navigation bar.

  2. Choose Page Title from the schema drop down menu.

  3. Enter the title of your page.

  4. If appropriate, add a subtitle, an image, or intro text.

  5. Hit Save & Close in the Home tab of the window for your new component.

Once you’ve created your new Page Title component you can add it to your page.

  • Navigate to the page you want to add it to in the Root folder.

Inside the window for the page you want to add your Page Title to, click Insert in the Component Presentations tab.

  • This will bring up a pop up window, showing the Building Blocks folder for this website (shown below):

You will create a schema item Page Title.

It has 2 fields: Page Title and Summary. The summary only displays in summary lists; it does not dispay in content full on a page.

Make sure that your page title is listed in the order that you want it to appear on your page!
