Introduction to Beatrix CMS: Editing

Most editors spend the majority of their time editing existing pages and sites. Beatrix CMS has a streamlined method for editing pages that eliminates the hassle of having to work in the Content folders.

To edit an existing page:

  1. Go to the Pages folder of your website.

  2. Select and open the page where you want to make edits.

  3. Select the component that contains the text and/or multimedia that you want to edit.

  4. Beatrix will Open the item that lives in the Content folder. Make your edits.

  5. When you're finished with the content item, remember to click Update.

  6. Once you save, publish the page to preview or live.

Pro Tip: If you have edited an item in a list, refresh the page in your browser to force Beatrix to recognize the change more quickly, so that you can publish the page.
