Disassociate a Specialist with a News Article or Fact Sheet

The YaleMedicine.org website utilizes a new proprietary system called the Clinical Content Mapping (CCM) tool to create relationships between Yale Medicine specialists and content. We are constantly improving this tool, but recognize that our data will sometimes connect specialists to the wrong article. To fix this issue, we’ve created an interface that faculty and organization administrators can use to suppress associations.

How to Suppress Associations

  1. Login to profile.yale.edu and navigate to the person’s profile page

  2. Once on the profile page, click Patient Care in the left navigation

  3. Scroll down to the YaleMedicine.org Articles section

  4. Click green Review and Edit button. This will take you to a page that lists all news and fact sheet articles associated with the person’s profile.

  5. Click the trash can icon to disassociate the person with the article.
