Newsletter Customized Headings for Sections

We offer a few options for customizing the look and feel of the headings that appear in your newsletter. These options will help you differentiate your emails from other newsletters produced using the Beatrix newsletter tool.

The color of the section headings will always match the theme color selected for that particular newsletter issue.

Editing Section Headings

All heading options can be accessed from the “Edit this section” button for each individual section.

Heading Font Style Options

There are two options available from the Header Font Style dropdown:

Serif

This is the standard serif font style that will appear as the Yale New Roman font in email clients that support it, and a standard serif font for those that don’t.

Open

Sans Serif

This is a new option we added as an alternative to the Serif font. It also may display with a “backup” sans serif font depending on the email client used, but below is the intended appearance.

Heading Style Options

There are now four heading style options to select from from the Heading Style dropdown in the Edit this Section popup.

Plain

The Plain style is a simple heading style that appears with a visual divider below the text, the color of the divider will match the selected color theme.

Button

The Button style heading will appear with a blocky appearance that includes a button on the right side if a Section Link is included.

Rounded

The Rounded heading style is rounded at the top left and right corners and a dark background, framing the content below.

Square

The Square heading style is…square, with a light background.
