Sending your Beatrix Newsletter using YaleMessage
After building your newsletter issue using Beatrix you will need to copy the HTML into the separate university application Yale Message.
You will need to receive training and access in the Yale Message tool before you can distribute a newsletter built using Beatrix. Request training here:

Publish Your Beatrix Newsletter
After building your newsletter in Beatrix and previewing your work. You must publish the newsletter.
Copy HTML from Beatrix to YaleMessage
After publishing your newsletter in Beatrix, you will select the “Copy HTML” button as shown below. Selecting this option will copy the HTML of the newsletter you built and add it to your clipboard allowing you to paste into YaleMessage.
IMPORTANT: For the next steps, you will now need to open YaleMessage (http://yalemessage.yale.edu/) in a new browser window. This application is not under the purview of YSM Office of Communications, as it is a University supported tool. If you require access, training, or support you will need to contact Yale ITS:

Pasting Into YaleMessage
After publishing the newsletter in Beatrix AND clicking “Copy HTML”, the next series of screenshots represent the steps you will take to insert your HTML into YaleMessage, to distribute the newsletter to your designated recipients.
You will have to open a new browser tab or window from Beatrix to access Yale Message at http://yalemessage.yale.edu/.
Please note you cannot modify the HTML of a newsletter built in Beatrix once it is copied into Yale Message. Modifications to the generated HTML are not supported by the YSM Communications or Yale Message team.

You will be asked to choose a creation option. Click on the HTML option to build your message only using HTML and CSS code.
