Text Fragment Call Out Boxes
Text Fragment components can be used to add designed call outs to your page and draw attention to specific information.
They are not added to pages on their own, but are attached to content components.
The following instructions will provide information on how to create and insert Text Fragment Call Out Boxes to your page via Tridion.

Creating a Text Fragment Component
Text Fragment components cannot be added to pages on their own, but they still have to be created apart from a Content component, and then attached afterwards.
Click New Component
(blue) to begin creating a Text Fragment component.
In the Building Blocks folder of your respective website, click New Component
(highlighted in blue above) in the Create tab (highlighted in yellow above) of the navigation bar.
You will be taken to a new page for creating the component (shown below):
Creating a Text Fragment component.
There are a few important steps to creating a Text Fragment component:
Name the Text Fragment Call Out Box
Choose
Text fragment
from the Schema drop down menu (highlighted in yellow above).Enter the appropriate text for the Heading and Text fields.
Because this is a call out, you want to keep the text brief.
When you're done entering text into these fields, hit
Save & Close
in the Home tab (highlighted in blue above).
Inserting the Text Fragment Component Into a Content Component
Once you’ve created the Text Fragment Component, you have to attach it to a Content component in order to add it to a page.
To start, enter the Root folder of your publication and open the page on which you want to add this call out.
These instructions assume you have added a Content component to the page. For information on adding basic Content components to a page, visit these instructions:
Pick the Content component to which your Text Fragment will be attached and click on it to open the window (shown below):
The Content Component you are adding your Text Fragment callout to.
Go to the paragraph where you want to the call out box to appear.
Find the Embedded text callout (uses Text Fragment schema) field and click the yellow folder to the right (highlighted in yellow above).
As the order you've listed your other components is mirrors the order they are published on the page, your Text Fragment will follow the order of the component to which it's attached.
You will be taken to your Building Blocks folder (shown below):
Your Building Blocks folder with the Text Fragment component.
Select the new Text Fragment component and click Insert
(highlighted in yellow above).

your the component you were working in, Save & Close
your page, and then publish your page!
