News Listings
Many departments want to publicize their news to the public, whether patients or prospective students/postdoc fellows. Tridion offers news components that create clean, sortable layouts for displaying news on the web.
As part of the Profile System, the News Module pulls information from a database outside Tridion to display content on your site.

Creating a News Listing in Tridion
You have many options for displaying a News Listing on a page, but before you do that you must create the News Listing.

Once you have created the News Listing, you have many options for how it will display on a page.
News Listing by Keyword
To create a news listing or widget which displays only articles tagged with a certain keyword or keywords, please submit a request to ysm.editor@yale.edu with the exact keyword desired.
News Article Highlights
The News Article Highlight component allows you to display and highlight a single News Article in a page on Tridion.
Print Publication Listing
To highlight your organization's printed publications such as a newsletter or magazine, use the Publications List template. This template will add a browse-able gallery of issues for a particular publication with a title, image of the issue cover, and link to a PDF version of the issue.
